Intended to approach scripture as the word of God (Logos) manifested in human language, each day’s reading will be preceded and followed by a prayer. 

This podcast features the classic Douay Rheims translation of the venerable Latin Vulgate. Those familiar with other translations will notice some differences in names of some books as well as the numbering system used with the psalms.

Unlike most audio Bibles this podcast will include those books and parts of the broader Old Testament canon usually omitted in Protestant Bibles.
